49 New Reasons

I am preparing for another show, featuring more of the 49 Mile Drive paintings.  I don't want it to be the same show as I had a year and a half ago in the Curiosity Shoppe. That was such a fun show, but new show - new work. Time for something different.

So I am having fun with the sign. I'm no longer keeping the bird white, and I'm introducing patterns and doodles wherever I fancy. The paintings are also on panels, not canvas. It is so much fun. Here are some I have almost completed (one still needs words). 

This will also be a show of 49 paintings so I have a lot of work to do.

Oscar Wilde by Richard Ellmann

This is the best biography I've ever read. Ellmann redefined the genre. His biographies of Joyce and Yeats are great too.

It's a commitment - over 700 pages - but really worth it
