Vanity

The other day I found myself in San Rafael driving past all the docks with their fancy white yachts. A big SUV pulled out from one of the parking lots in front of me. It was driven by a manly nautical-looking guy.

Obviously a boat owner, obviously loves his boat, because his vanity plate read BLUWHIM. I'm guessing his boat is called BLU  WHIM or BLUE  WHIM.

But I wonder if he realizes that it could also be BLUW  HIM.

No, I'd imagine he likely has no idea that at least half the people reading his tag are thinking that they just got way too much info!
