All 6"X6" on Canvas, except the top one. That's on wood and is about 4"X6".
The colors are a little off because I am a shitty photographer. I usually scan them, but the scanner is not set up in the studio yet.
We had an awesome weekend in the studio, with visitors (Alisha, Carl and Steph, Megan and Bob and adorable wee Ailish, Jason and Adrianne, and Aaron). Lots of painting, music, and champagne (thanks Carl and Steph!)
Saturday night, Jason, Adrianne, and Aaron came over for dinner after they came to the studio, and we had a delicious dinner. Every time Eric and Jason get in a kitchen together (Eric and Randy too), it's like a perfect storm. Eagerness to experiment with another foodie, enthusiasm, and fresh California ingredients combine to create magic. We were literally moaning over grilled grass-fed beef, creamy sauteed fingerling potatoes, grilled prawns, and arugula/tomato/avocado salad. wow! Then we all proceeded to get sozzled and brainstorm t-shirt design ideas that are going to make us rich.
Last Thursday, I went to Evany's reading at Minnie Wilde. And although I didn't see her read (because I had to leave at 7:00-ish and the reading hadn't started), I did get to hang out and chat with her and Marco for a while and have some champagne and amazing banana cream pie from Mission Pie. Evany was just delicious and funny and I'm so glad she's going to have one of the Sutros.
Seeing all the towers together makes them look a bit wonky individually, but I consider that part of their charm!
i love the sutro tower on wood. is it for sale? sold?
