It is more than just a nice day in San Francisco; it is HOT. Eric is still out of town so I had coffee and went into Hayes valley, where I bought some birthday presents for friends and had a yummy chicken Caesar salad for lunch. I had a little wander on Haight Street too. I like that store, Doe.
Then I came home and sat out on the deck with a blended strawberry smoothie and the Sunday paper.
Now I am listening to music and starting to paint some wrestlers. (I wonder will they get more popular with the release of the new Jack Black movie, Nacho Libre?)
Eric just called. He is in Milwaukee, Wisconsin tonight, staying at an Irish inn called County Clare. He says Milwaukee is beautiful, like Portland on Lake Michigan. They get savage winters there though. I couldn't live in a place where I'd have to dig my car out of snow.
Here's a cool mural I saw on Haight Street, in gorgeous temperate San Francisco.
