What a fun weekend, lots of hanging out with friends, including playing Liebrary with Stephanie, Carl, and Steph's sister, Gretchen. It was so much fun. The perfect game for former English majors. Plus, it was invented by Daryl Hannah!

Eric and I are getting ready for Open Studios again. We have to register this week. It was SO much fun last year. I am very much looking forward to doing it again.

This was a surprize: Melanie was on the Artspan website looking up Open Studios, and she came upon a photo of yours truly on the main Open Studios page. It's one Eric took of me hanging paintings the Friday before our weekend. I sent them a link to the photo afterwards. It's a bit funny that they didn't ask my permission or identify me on the site, or even let me know thay were posting my picture. Not that I mind.

Here is one of Eric's recent-ish paintings, inspired by a hike in Muir woods. It's hanging over our couch right now. I love it.
