That Time Again

Easter candy time! Which means only one thing - Cadbury Mini Eggs! These little jewels are the best chocolate, hands down, in America. (Hate to make you jealous, but in Ireland all chocolate is this good.) The fact that they're only available at Easter makes them even more special.

When I did a search for a Mini Egg image, I found this brilliant quote on the blog WASAW (Writers/Artists Snacking at Work):

"I don't remember exactly where I was the first time I had Cadbury Mini Eggs, but I remember the sensation I felt the moment I bit through the candy shell. It was as if I'd tasted chocolate for the first time, that all previous chocolate was just preparing me for these mini-eggs. I wouldn't realize just how great these oval nuggets of nirvana really were until years later when I first partook in lovemaking. Or as I called it at the time, "The physical act of two people nearly replicating the pleasure of eating a Cadbury Mini Egg."

Evany and I had dinner the other night and did a painting/book swap. I brought her a bag of Mini Eggs - because the joy should be shared.

We had such a wonderful time. Spaghetti and wine and several hours of talking and laughing and swapping stories. It makes me very happy that we connected because she is awesome!

I know I am a bit late as this is an older post, but I had to say I LOVE MINI EGGS!!!!!! Just last week I was trying to explain how good they are to all my coworkers. But I think I am just gong to have to bring some to the office to share because you can't explain it. Glad to see there are more people out there like me.
